The difference between manual inflation and full automatic inflation

I. Description before wearing
The following matters shall be examined before use:
1. Check if the life jackets are broken:
Make sure the life jacket has no cracks or holes.
This type of damage on the outer cover indicates that the gas chamber may have been in contact with the damaged parts.
If these defects are found, they cannot be used until the maintenance test is carried out.
2. Check the condition of the automatic inflation device
The indicator part of the automatic inflating device will tell you whether the automatic inflator has been properly installed.
Please refer to the air charging device near the automatic inflator for inspection instructions.
3. Check the CO2 cylinder
When the automatic inflating device takes effect, a cylinder containing CO2 gas will inflate the life vest.
The installed CO2 cylinder should be properly sized and not previously used.
When checking the cylinder, unscrew the cylinder and observe the screw plane.
The cylinder does not show whether the gas is full. If there is any damage to the spiral plane, the cylinder should be replaced.
Refer to the specification of the product specification to select the appropriate size cylinder, including the screw size and the internal CO2 weight.
If the cylinder is OK, you also need to turn right back to the inflator.
Additional instructions for CO2 cylinder
A: before installing CO2 cylinders, the incorrect installation of the automatic inflating device will cause the gas to be inflated immediately.
B: the CO2 cylinder can be inflated only once and cannot be used again.
C: the protective coating of CO2 cylinder may be corroded after being placed in the environment or used for a period of time. At this point, the CO2 cylinder will begin to show some signs of rust.
In this case, replace the CO2 cylinder.

III. Wear instructions after inflation
A fully inflated life jacket will be hard to wear.

IV. Aeration instructions
1. Automatic aeration - the automatic inflating device will inflate automatically in 5 seconds.
2. Blow up the mouth -- the blow pipe is on the left side of the user.
Open the left side of the life jacket and blow the tube into your mouth until the air bag is hard.
If the airbag is softened by CO2 infiltration (after a period of normal loss of cylinder gas), it is necessary to inflate it through the mouth to maintain buoyancy.
3. Air inflatable under freezing conditions, the airbag is not hard when the temperature is under 40oF (4oC), and it needs to be blown up in addition to the automatic aeration.
The gas time of CO2 in the temperature is longer.
4. Other aeration instructions
A. Be careful - don't inflate your mouth and fill it with CO2 cylinders.
Repeated CO2 inflation after inflating the mouth will destroy the life jackets.
B. You can't inflate your life jacket with air pumps or air compressors.
C, it is more necessary to inflate with CO2 than air inflating through air, so it is necessary to replenish the inflating system as soon as possible.

Use a hooded cap to cover the inlet of the blow valve at the end of the blowpipe (at the end of the mouth). See the illustration.
While pressing the blow valve, gently remove the gas from the air bag.
You can't curl a life vest in the air.
If the valve remains open for some reason, press the valve multiple times.
If not released, the life jacket needs to be repaired.
VI. Other instructions
1. Unless you are in the cabin, always wear a life jacket.
2. Avoid all unnecessary activities that cause wear and tear on life jackets.
3. Be careful when used around sharp objects.
4. Avoid exposure to the sun.
5. Inflatable life jackets can cause unintentional inflation if they fall into the water or put the inflating system in an unnecessary water spraying environment.
The general service life of the product:
Life jackets are valid for three years and are tested annually for CO2 levels in the cylinders.
The life of a life jacket depends largely on how it is used and maintained, and to avoid storage in places where there is sunlight.
Sunlight, which contains ultraviolet light, reduces the performance of synthetic materials.
Prolonged exposure to high temperature and humidity will shorten its service life.
We know that these factors reduce the performance of the material, and each time it is used differently, there is no definite way to estimate its service life.
For this reason, you must follow the maintenance and cleaning instructions and perform maintenance and performance checks.
This ensures the maximum life of the life jacket.
Failure to comply with these instructions can cause life jackets to malfunction, causing injuries and even death.
Maintenance and cleaning instructions:
Cool dry - if the life jacket is wet, hang it thoroughly dry on the coated hanger.
Don't bask directly in the sun or use any heat source.
Clean - synthetic fabrics suggest a mild detergent wet wipe.
Wipe off the grease immediately.

1. Air leakage testing - this test is carried out every two months.

2. Valve function detection of mouth and blow - remove dust cap.
When the life vest is inflated, use the highlighted part of the cap to test the valve. The valve should be easy to be pressed down. When it is released, it should be able to return to the closed position and seal again.
3. Exterior inspection of outer cover and ribbon - check the outer cover, seam, ribbon connection, buckle etc.
The color of the cloth indicates that its strength is weakened, and the strength is checked by tightening the joint and connecting part.
If there is any damage to the life vest, it needs to be replaced, and the test should be carried out before going out.
Store in a clean, cool, dry place.
The soluble parts cannot be placed in a prolonged period of humidity and temperature.
The soluble parts of the ventilation package cannot be stored in a sealed container when transported.
The storage time of the soluble parts should not exceed 18 months prior to use.
How to check your life jacket?
1. Put on a life jacket (exhaust) into the shallow water area (water depth should be enough to keep your head above water).
2. The automatic inflation device will function and then inflate.
3. Tilt your head back to see if the fully inflated life jacket can lift you up (back slightly back) to relax and see if your mouth is just above the water level.
4. Repeat these steps, inflating your life jacket mouth and inflating the life jacket, so that you can be adequately supported to inflate it.
